Mr. LaScola’s client was charged with Attempted Computer Fraud. Trial was chosen after the prosecution rejected an offer to defer prosecution. The specific “intent” required in proving this charge was lacking and Mr. LaScola cross-examined the Investigator throughly to establish this point. Ultimately, the 5th District Judge agreed with Mr. LaScola and entered a Finding of Not Guilty.
